May 15, 2011 - We are pleased to say that all our Newfy puppies have found wonderful homes. Please check back late this year or early 2012 for an update on our next litter. Thank you for your interest in Bayou Noir Newfys.
Our first litter of puppies was whelped on February 3, 2011 and there were eight gorgeous puppies in the litter. There were three black females, one black male, two chocolate females and two chocolate males. The photos below show the puppies at ten weeks of age. The colors in the photo caption indicate the color of the yarn collar we use for identification.
We are looking for good homes for these fine puppies and there are five left for sale. All of the puppies have been DNA tested for cystinuria, examined twice by our veterinarian, received two rounds of immunizations, and have been de-wormed twice. For the first eight weeks, the puppies lived in our home. Now they live in an open-air kennel in the shade of our deck. The puppies have interacted continually with us since the day they were whelped.
